About Don

Don and Chelli Warren A native Tylerite, Don is a graduate of Texas Tech University and has been an oil and gas professional for the last 32 years. He is the owner of Lomoco, Inc., a small oil and gas asset management firm which he formed in 1994. Since 2010, he has served our City on the Planning and Zoning Commission and currently serves as Chairman of the Bergfeld Park Improvement Project. He currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Downtown Tyler Art Center Task Force and as a Board Member and volunteer at Gateway to Hope. Don and his wife, Chelli, have 2 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren.

Most importantly, Don has a passion for our City and a great desire to work together with others on the Council to build consensus on important projects. He is not afraid to ask tough questions and he is not afraid to work hard. Don believes in limited government, the pay-as-you go businesslike approach to city government, and the importance of public / private partnerships to achieve great things for our city. In short, Don is running because he believes Tyler is a great place to live and work. He believes the previous councils and mayors have done a great job and he wants to make sure Tyler keeps moving forward.
